Threshold Tattoo opened in August, 2000 becoming the first Tattoo & Body Piercing Studio in St. Charles.
We are currently the only Tattoo & Body Piercing studio regulated, inspected, and approved by the St. Charles County Health Department. We offer a clean, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere with unparalleled customer service from some of the best artists and piercers in the area. We have a large selection of body jewelry and thousands of tattoo designs to choose from. If you can’t find the jewelry you want, we can order it, if you can’t find the tattoo design you want, one of our artists will custom design it for you. Whatever your needs, we have you covered.

History of Threshold
In 1993, after years of frustration trying to find quality body jewelry, we formed the manufacturing business - Threshold Incorporated. We manufactured high quality body jewelry out of 316L stainless steel,niobium, titanium, and 14kt gold in our machine shop located in St. Louis. We also crafted one-of-a-kind custom pieces. Threshold distributed body jewelry all over the country and to several local tattoo and body piercing shops in the St. Louis area. In August of 2000, Threshold branched out and opened Threshold Body Art Studio in St. Charles. Threshold has undergone many changes over the years; however, our goal is the same – to provide unwavering dedication to our clients.
