Wentzville School District Wins Meritorious Budget Award

Wentzville School District Wins Meritorious Budget Award

The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) has awarded the Wentzville School District the Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) for excellence in budget presentation.

The award is conferred only to school districts that have met or exceeded the Meritorious Budget Award criteria, and Wentzville is one of only eight of the 522 school districts in the state of Missouri to have received the award.

“The MBA recognizes the District's efforts to inform our patrons through transparent reporting on the financial operations of the District,” said Chief Financial Officer Kari Monsees. “The budget document is more than just dollars and cents, it describes in detail how resources are generated and allocated for the benefit of student learning.”
