Water Restored Along Mid Rivers Mall Drive

Water Restored Along Mid Rivers Mall Drive

Water has been restored to customers along a portion of Mid Rivers Mall Drive after a City of St. Peters crew repaired a water main break Tuesday.

The water main break occurred on Mid Rivers Mall Drive Tuesday morning near the Barnes & Noble store at the intersection of Mid Rivers Plaza. Water customers were without water for about 90 minutes along both sides of Mid Rivers Mall Drive from Barnes & Noble north to the Bob Evans restaurant at Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Workers had to shut down water service in this area in order to repair the 8-inch water main. Water was restored at about 12:15 p.m.

A contractor for the City of St. Peters hit the water main at the northwest edge of the intersection while trying to install a mast-arm base that will support traffic signals going in at Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Mid Rivers Plaza. This work is part of the Mid Rivers Mall Drive Resurfacing Project.
