Rascals Open Playoffs Wednesday | Events

It wasn’t long ago when the River City Rascals had trouble getting to the postseason, but, after a season where the Rascals (68-27) tied the Frontier League record in wins, they find themselves in the postseason for the third straight year.  The West Division finals start tomorrow night as the Rascals host the Southern Illinois Miners.

Last year, the Rascals defeated the Traverse City Beach Bums 3-1 to claim their first Frontier League Championship.  In 2009, the Rascals lost a heartbreaking championships series to the Lake Erie Crushers three games to two.

In his two seasons at the helm of the Rascals, manager Steve Brook has guided the club to an incredible 125-66 regular season mark.

Game 1:  Wednesday, September 7th (O’Fallon)  7:05 PM

Game 2:  Thursday, September 8th  (O’Fallon)   7:05 PM

Game 3:  Saturday, September 10th (Marion, IL)  7:05 PM

Game 4:  Sunday, September 11th (Marion, IL)  5:05 PM  (if necessary)

Game 5:  Monday, September 12th (O’Fallon)  7:05 PM (if necessary)
