Friday Night Concert Series At The St. Louis Zoo Schedule

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – The 2013 Friday night concert series at the St. Louis Zoo has been released.  The concert series is slated to start on Friday, May 24 at 5:00 pm.  The series will go from May 24th to August 30th at the zoo.

All of the concerts are free to the public and go from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Concerts will be located in the Schnuck Family Plaza, in the center of the zoo.

As St. Louis prepares for heavy rain due to Hurricane Isaac, residents should be made aware that standing water from heavy rains is likely to bring an increased amount of mosquitoes to the area. Mosquitoes have recently made headlines for their transmission of the deadly West Nile Virus.
 
Terminix is taking this threat seriously, and is urging St. Louis residents to act now to eliminate areas where water may accumulate once the storm hits.
