Hospital Room 321, Not Your Dream Wedding Location

When Scott and Jean Poe met three and a half years ago at a hospital, they never thought their wedding day would land them in the hospital again.

They met when they were both patients at another St. Charles County hospital and exchanged numbers.  When Scott was discharged from the hospital, he kept Jean’s number and called her a week later to see how she was doing.

Three and a half years later, they were ready to get married to each other, and had their ideal wedding planned.

Both Scott and Jean have been married before, so they didn’t want anything elaborate.  They had a practical small outdoor wedding planned at Indian Camp Creek Park in Foristell.  Their family was planning on coming, and they would celebrate with a reception afterward.

Friday, October 1, their plans changed in an instant.  Scott was rushed to Progress West HealthCare Center where he was admitted.
