Fenton Man Pulled Over on Two Felony DWIs in Five Months
A Fenton man faces two felony DWI charges after being pulled over by police twice within five months. Bernardo Perez, 47, of the 1400 block of Hawkins Corner Drive in Fenton, was charged Jan. 24 with driving while intoxicated, drug intoxication, as an aggravated offender in a May 16 incident.
Granite City Man Charged With Burglary
An investigation into four local burglaries by the Madison County Sheriff's Office has led them to a Granite City resident as a suspect in two of the burglaries. Trevor Pogue, 28, was already in the Madison County Jail's custody after being arrested on a warrant for a separate Madison County burglary.

A man faces his third drunk driving charge after Clayton Police said he drove over a curb for about 50 feet and couldn’t stay in a single lane on Forsyth Boulevard Jan. 12. Gregory J. Welch, of the 8000 block of Maryland Avenue in Clayton, was charged Jan. 13 with driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender.
Second Man Charged in U City Burglary on Orchard Avenue
A second man was charged with an October burglary in the 8300 block of Orchard Avenue in University City. John Gathright, 19, of the 1500 block of Eastmont Place in University City, was charged with second-degree burglary and felony stealing.

A Bridgeton woman struck a police officer while driving drunk Jan. 25, Bridgeton Police said. Kristen Essary, 23, of the 11900 block of Benedetta Drive in Bridgeton, was charged Thursday with vehicular assault on a law enforcement officer and leaving the scene of an accident.

A Petsmart employee stole at least $500 in cash from the store by faking merchandise returns, Brentwood Police said. Mark Tyler, 39, of the 4400 block of Turquoise in the Affton area, was charged Jan. 25 with felony theft.

Hairdresser Indicted for Burglarizing Retirement Community Apartments
A former hairdresser for a retirement community was indicted last Wednesday by a St. Louis County grand jury on seven burglary charges after being accused of stealing. As previously reported by Patch, Town and Country Police said Kerri Spink, 39, stole items valued at a total of $85,487 from residents of Garden Villas Retirement Community, 13590 South Outer 40 Road in Town and Country.
